Announcing the Discovery of Gorhamville!

In an amazing discovery, the lost city of Gorhamville has been found! Archaeologists have unearthed a number of artifacts indicating that the heretofore unknown lost city was at one time a loose federation of villages, each with their own quasi-democratically elected leaders. However, the evidence, which is still being investigated indicates that an effort to consolidate the power of the communities was stymied by forces yet to be revealed. Our team has determined that the original effort to join the communities under the name of Westconnaug was thwarted by what certain leaders of the villages thought of as "black magic." The source of this "black magic" is still an area of dispute among the experts in the field.

What is known at this point is that in an effort to overcome this slight certain Westconnaugers vested power in a certain local chieftain. The name "Gorhamville" then entered the local lexicon. Our team is looking into exactly what the connection is.

This blog will be the home of Project Gorhamville, updating those interested in this fascinating discovery on the progress of the research. Check back often for the latest updates on what is happening in "Gorhamville."
